Calling quilters “Down Under”, do you want to win a box of Aurifil thread?

Well, I haven’t had time to suffer the Wednesday doldrums for the past two weeks but I did still want to write today, as I thought you should have a chance to enter the Aurifil Competition that has been running in the Down Under Quilts online magazine.

The magazine is subscription based but you can still enter the competition by clicking on the image below to go directly to the competition entry form on Always Quilting website.

We have 2 prizes on offer, both of which are Kit Art boxes of 12 standard spools of  Aurifil Cotton Mako’ thread, selected by Pat Sloan.

First prize is 12 basic colours of Cotton Mako’ 50 for quilting & applique

The competition is easy peasy, winners will be selected by a random “lucky Draw raffle”, so no skill is required except skill to fill in a form.  (something I am often lacking as I never seem to read the instructions properly)

However, please note that the competition is only open to residents in Australia & New Zealand.

Second prize is 12 basic colours in Cotton Mako’ 40 for piecing and quilting

Although I am giving you the direct link to the competition page, you might like to subscribe to the Down Under Quilts online magazine. They offer a 6 month free trial subscription and the magazine does look good and is very easy to read online

You might also like to visit Pat Sloan’s blog to see what she has been up to with her patchwork & quilting this year.

  1. Clicking on the image and it only enlarges it. Is there another link?
